Certificate Verification Framework

The Authority maintains a public licence verification system allowing third parties to confirm the authenticity and status of Internet Gaming Licences.

Every licence certificate issued by the Authority includes embedded verification features that enable independent confirmation of licence authenticity and current status.

Verification Features

Licence certificates issued by the Authority include a unique licence number and QR verification code. The QR code links directly to the official licence verification page in the public register.

The verification page displays the following information:

  • Licensee name
  • Licence number
  • Licence status
  • Approved operational domains
  • Licence validity period

This system enables immediate confirmation of licence authenticity without requiring direct contact with the Authority.

Verification Best Practices

Third parties seeking to confirm an operator’s licensing status should use the public register or scan the QR code on the operator’s certificate. The public register is updated periodically and reflects the current status of all licences issued by the Authority.

Certificates that cannot be verified through the public register should not be relied upon as evidence of licensing status. Physical or digital copies of certificates may be outdated or altered, and only the public register reflects the current position.

Important

If a certificate cannot be verified through the QR code or public register, contact the Authority directly. Do not rely on unverified certificates as evidence of licensing status.

Confirm the authenticity and current status of any licence through the public register.
