Regulatory Enforcement Policy
The Authority monitors compliance with licence conditions applicable to licensed operators.
◆ The Authority applies a proportionate enforcement framework designed to maintain the integrity of the licensing regime and protect the interests of players and the broader regulatory environment.
The enforcement policy defines the Authority’s approach to identifying, assessing, and responding to regulatory non-compliance. It covers the graduated enforcement framework, escalation procedures, and the circumstances under which the Authority may take action.
Regulatory actions may include compliance notices, administrative penalties, licence suspension, and licence revocation. The nature of action taken depends on the seriousness of the breach and the circumstances of the case.
The full enforcement policy, including the escalation framework and publication procedures, is set out in the Enforcement section.
